The Darmasala complex is actually a residential complex that serves as a place of rest or shelter before entering the temple for pilgrims, but Dieng darmasala is also a pavilion, a dormitory for residences of priests / religious leaders, temple guards, pilgrims, as well as prospective pastors and knights who are studying in Dieng.
The Darmasala complex in Dieng itself is spread almost everywhere in Dieng, some are in the form of community settlements, residential buildings of temple guards / caretakers of sacred buildings, hermitage, pendopo, and others. The largest Darmasala complex is near the Arjuna temple, and behind the Aswatama gangsiran. Near the Arjuna Temple the Darmasala complex has undergone renovation, where there is also a pavilion as an embodiment of wooden buildings that once existed in the complex, the wooden building itself is indicated because there are Umpak Batu in Komplek Darmasala, umpak batu is a stone arranged and planted on the ground as the foundation of a wooden building.
Behind the Darmasala complex located next to the Arjuna Temple complex there are also water sources in the form of wells called Sendang Maerokoco and Sendang Sendayu, two sources of springs behind the Darmasala complex are believed to be watering patches, or where water is taken later to be used to purify before entering the temple area and also the place to take water used for worship processions in the temple.
