Dringo Lake or also called Sidringo or Sidlingo is a lake located at an altitude of 2202 masl, the name of this lake is taken from the name of a medicinal plant that often grows in the lake named Dlingo, this lake is actually the result of the former Dringo eruption, this lake has the nickname the most beautiful lake in Dieng also Ranu Kumbolonya Banjarnegara because it has the same characteristics as Ranu Kumbolo on Mount Semeru.
This lake also has historical heritage in the form of eating a Javanese guardian who is now built for pilgrims who come, the lake is open 24 hours, in the morning we can enjoy the sunrise from the Telaga Dringo area or climb to the hills behind Telaga named Bukit Sawangan, from up there we can enjoy the beauty of Sunrise and the sights that are directly fixed on the North Coast of Java. During the day we can see a view of the highlands dieng from the top of the Dringo lake, and in the evening we can camp in a fairly large camp site, the Telaga area is part of Perhutani’s Telaga Dringo Nature Reserve.
There are 2 camp site locations provided by the management of the Dringo lake area, supporting facilities such as garbage bins, toilets and food stalls are also available even though they are not too good. The Dringo Lake area is also directly adjacent to the Batang Regency, because of that the Dringo Lake area can be accessed through the Rod and from Banjarnegara.
